I'm not one to like muscle cars, especially modern ones, but that thing looks very good.

I thought it was a GT-R for a second.

I see the GT-R a little but this is much better then the GT-R IMO.

I want more information about these (supposed) carbon fiber wheels.

I want all of it every moment for the rest of my life.
Except that center screen. Just switches. Keep it simple.

I haven't found much info cause it's been getting drowned out by the new Ford GT.

I still goes against what I think muscle cars should be.
Sure you make a football player do ballet, but some 5ft 100pound girl is always going to be better at it.
I'd take a normal GT350 or a Hellcat over the 350R. They're still really fast and more usable.

GT350R : Flat plane crank V8, 6-speed manual gearbox, priced for somewhat mere mortals.
GT: Ecoboosta, 7-speed flappy paddles, priced well north of 6 figures.
Advantage: 350R

The wing is an improvement. Stills needs more scoops. :)

Well it's never been a Muscle car.
The Muscle car for Ford was the Torino and Gran Torino. Like the Charger and Chevelle.
The Mustang was a Pony car. Like the Camaro and Challenger.

lol side scoops would be cool.

I don't really like the idea of making a car that wasn't street legal originally, and reincarnating it as a street legal car. It's a bit like how Ferrari dropped the ball on the 599 GTO.
However, the mechanicals are on point with what Ford should do. Keep V8s and manuals, but make them more modern, i.e. the flat-plane crank.
However, I understand there's no racing league for that sort of thing anymore, so the only way it'll exist is in a street version.
I genuinely think the Ford GT should been an extension of this car's mechanicals. Using a bigger V8 with a flat plane, a stick, and fancier suspension. That would've been the American way to go about it, and probably would be more desirable for collectors.

They're cheap, weigh a lot and come with V8's. Bang on the definition IMO.
My point was a 3k-pound sports car is going to be a better track car than a 4k-pound mustang. So I'll take the "pony" car with rear seats.

It's everything I've ever wanted in a Mustang, it's awesome!
I still can't believe they managed to cut so much weight out of it. This thing is going to be fast! I wonder if that's enough tire to beat the Z/28.

I'm a Chevy man and I think it looks great. Can't wait to see it and the new Alpha platformed Camaro Z28 duke it out on track. Also, like the wing....fixes a lot of what I didn't care for about the general shape.

This is what I think about it.
JK I actually really like it.

I'm one of those apparent weirdos who see what muscle cars actually are: the engine out of the big car in the range shoehorned into the midsize or compact car in the line.
Because of this, I think the Alfa GTV6 is the best muscle car ever made.

The thing about the "American way" is there is no "American way". That's how Yankee Ingenuity works. Doing the best with what we've got. Knowing that we put the lighter engine into that car gave the ghost of Colin Chapman an erection.

Do these look like GTR wheels to anyone else?
